This five day course is designed for Law Enforcement Personnel who operate in high threat environments in support of undercover personnel. This course includes both short-range and long-range precision shooting with .223 semi-auto and accurate scoped rifles.
This course requires a high degree of mental preparation and excellent marksmanship skills with the assigned long-gun. Students should be familiar with optical equipment to include variable powered scopes, reticle patterns (to include Mil-dots), spotting scopes, and binoculars. Students are required to be in excellent physical condition and capable of light to moderate physical activity.

- Quick Acquisition of Targets
- Firing at Various Distances
Shooting exercises with the .223 include:
- Use of Cover
- Shooting While Moving
- ACOG Optical / Reflex Sighting Systems
- Aimpoint Optical Sighting Systems
- Close and Medium Distant Shooting
- Vehicle Ambushes
Shooting exercises with bolt rifles include:
- Known and Unknown Distant Shooting
- Precision Shooting
- Low-Light Shooting
- High and Low Angle Shooting
- Glass Penetration
A qualification course will be fired at the end of each training day. Students must successfully pass this course in order to continue with the next days training exercises. Tuition is not refundable. Shooters will also be evaluated in high stress practical shooting scenarios including multiple threats and shoot - no shoot targets. |
